Porcelain Structures

We envision foundations to be the rudiment of any structure and these shapes lend to this ideal in parts, however on close inspection we see them to be no more then paper thin porcelain of no structural value. The breaking of Porcelain is usually a moment of regret, fear and anxiety. In this case the typical child like building block shapes are transformed into objects of great delicacy. The ephemeral nature of the material and its sheer fragility, gives this work both strength and weakness.
